The Department of Computer Engineering holds a symposium entitled “Remembering the Speicher Martyrs Massacre”
The Educational Guidance Unit in the Department of Computer Engineering held a symposium entitled “Remembering the Speicher Martyrs Massacre”, in which more than 1,700 unarmed students were killed by the terrorist organization ISIS. In the presence of the Head of the Network Engineering Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghaida Mutasher Abdul Sahib, and the Head of the Legal Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Baida Abdul Jabbar, and a number of professors and students, on Thursday 11/28/2024 in the discussion hall of the department.
The seminar was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghaida Mutasher Abdul Sahib and Asst. Dr. Baida Abdul Jabbar.
The seminar began with a fragrant recitation of the Holy Quran by the student Ali Jaafar Fakhr al-Din, then the student Muhammad Baqir Ahmad reviewed the events of the heinous crime that is considered a crime of genocide. He pointed out that the terrorist organization ISIS, which has no connection to religion or humanity, carried out this heinous crime against the students of the Air Force College on June 12, 2014.
