The Department of Computer Engineering holds a workshop entitled “Generative AI: Its applications and effects on the educational process”

Under the patronage of the respected University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and the supervision of the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan, and based on the recommendations of the celebration of the regional event of the International Day of Girls in the field of Information and Communication Technology, the Department of Computer Engineering, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, held a workshop entitled “Generative AI: Its Applications and Effects on the Educational Process”, in the presence of the Head of the Network Engineering Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghaida Mutasher, and a number of female lecturers and students of the department, on Wednesday 6/11/2024 in the discussion hall in the department.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Enas Aqeel Rahim, who discussed the importance of encouraging female students to participate in scientific and technological innovation. She spoke about how to use artificial intelligence applications to improve learning outcomes, expand access to high-quality education, and promote innovative teaching and learning methods.

At the end of the workshop, the floor was opened for dialogue and answers to the students’ questions, and then a certificate of appreciation was presented to the lecturer in recognition of her efforts.
