Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering publishes distinguished scientific research in a journal within the Scopus classification

Lecturer Dr. Isra Ali Al Nuaimi contributed in collaboration with a team of researchers at the University of Western Sydney in Australia , University of Western Sydney (UWS), Sydney, Australia, scientific research in the field of medical engineering entitled (Augmented reality for visualization the narrow areas in jaw surgery: modified Correntropy based enhanced ICP algorithm). Which included proposing a system of reinforcement tracking learning detection (TLD), which is used as a distinct algorithm for removing occlusion in the intraoperative phase of an augmented reality-based jaw surgery system.
The research was published in a journal “Multimedia Tools and Applications” It is considered one of the reputable scientific journals specialized in engineering applications in the medical field in the world, and it is indexed within the Scopus Q1 database and within the publishing house “Nature Springer”
